Before you can connect your laptop or other device to the University wireless network you must have registered the device on the Connect Portal (see link below). Once this has been done you should be able to access the wireless network from anywhere in the Library.
There are three networks, Wifi@Brunel which is only for Brunel members, eduroam which is only for visitors from another university (you will need to have registered for eduroam with your home institution before you arrive); and Visitor@Brunel which is for other categories of visitors who have asked to be set up prior to their visit.
There is a fourth WiFi network, SignUp4WiFi@Brunel but this is reserved for users to register a new device and does not provide access to the internet.
