The majority of USB pen drives will work on University PCs. If your drive isn't recognised when you plug it in, be sure to try a different USB port, or a different PC to verify it's not just a local problem to that port/PC.

However, you may find that it is not recognised on any PC in the work areas on campus. The University cannot test every brand of USB storage device, and very occasionally these devices need admin privileges on the PC so will not work. The TechZone has a list of devices that are known not to work.
