First, register a personal account. If you have not registered one before you should use a browser and set one up at either Science Direct or Scopus. You may sign in via the UK Federation so that you are recognised as a Brunel member. (See link below for a direct link to Scopus for Brunel)
You may also register through this link but you may need to sign in from within Brunel's IP range or log in through the Athens / Institution link first - look under "Please choose your institution's region or group" and then "UK Access Management Federation" for Brunel University.
If you have set up a "personalised" account before on ScienceDirect or Scopus but you have forgotten your username and/or password then use their 'forgotten' link to get a reminder sent to your registered mailbox.
To sign in to your app you need to enter your Scopus (or your ScienceDirect) username and password (not your Brunel University Network username and password), and the email address you registered on setting up your "personal" account - you may use your Brunel email here.
