Unfortunately early versions of the Kindle did not support the PDF format. Third generation and later versions of Kindles may handle PDF files but there may be a problem with the font size. See the Bluefire Reader link below. Installation of this reader is at your own risk.

If you have a problem, it is possible to use an application, such as Calibre, to convert the format of the file. However, conversion of a digital format is only permitted in certain circumstances under exceptions to copyright law, following changes to UK copyright law in 2014. Guidance is provided by the Intellectual Property Office below. In particular see Personal copying for private use.

Consequently we do not support or recommend the use of Kindles as a PDF reader. However, Kindle Fire users may use the Bluefire app to open and read PDF content at their own risk - see the Bluefire Reader link below.
