You can use a wide range of copyright materials for teaching and learning under copyright licensing and legislation.

However, when using digital environments like Brightspace, it is not always as simple as uploading content to your modules.  In fact, for materials from books and journals, this is not recommended as there are copyright compliance requirements which apply to content copied and shared electronically.

If you need help to work out what is allowed under licence or UK statutory exceptions to copyright, the guide and links below will help.  The Library can also advise on the use of content under copyright regulations. Contact your Academic Liaison Librarian or Open Research and Rights.
