For business students:

You may find the Sage Navigator element of our collection of Sage Knowledge e-books useful.  This has a timeline of key readings (including journal article as well as books), on a timeline, for topics within all their major works:

  • Access Sage Knowledge from the A-Z list of databases
  • Then use the Browse option towards the bottom of the screen to limit to Major Works
  • Search within results (at the right of the screen) for your topic, e.g. branding
  • Identify a relevant book (if there is one) in the list of results.  One of the results in a search for branding is a book called Brand Management
  • Select the title to see an overview of the book, then Key Readings for a timeline of readings going back to 1986
  • The readings are colour-coded by subcategory and one of the subcategories is Fundamental Elements of Branding - You may find it useful to look at the articles in this subcategory

The books we have in Sage Knowledge are mostly business focused. Students in other subject areas, or for more ideas for Business students, please contact your subject librarian.
