Long Loan items will be automatically renewed for you, up to 6 times, for 4 weeks at a time. It will not renew if there is an active Click and Collect/Post request on that title or if that copy has been recalled for a request by another user.
Once an item has had all 6 auto-renewals, it must be brought into the Library and returned or be re-issued to start the 6 auto-renewal cycle.
- You should check your account regularly but the Library will also send monthly account statements showing all current activity on your account
- You will also be informed by separate email if anything fails to automatically renew for any reason, including reaching the maximum allowed renewals
