Once you have registered at the University and been given your Student ID card at the Student Centre, your details will be transferred to the Library and a Library account will be created for you. This process takes approximately 24 hours to take effect.
Your Student ID Card is also your Library, Photocopying and Printing Card. You will need this card to access the Library. Brunel students who do not have their Student ID card with them must pay £2 to get a Guest Pass for the day. You also need your card to borrow items and review your account on the Self Issue Machines.
If you get a new ID Card for whatever reason (e.g. you've lost or broken your previous card) you must come into the Library to link your new card to your Library Account.
