OpenAthens was replaced by an alternative system in 2010. Please use Brunel Sign In to the University's online resources via the "Access resources off-campus" link on the Library homepage (see link below). Just sign in with your student number (eg 1201234) or network username (eg hlstikb), and network password.
We also have an alternative institutional access management system called Shibboleth so our off campus users may log on to a database. This system also uses Brunel Sign In.
We do not use OpenAthens to sign in to online resources except if you are following an NHS-commissioned course in the Department of Clinical Sciences (such as Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy). You will be issued with an OpenAthens account at the start of your course. Please activate the account immediately. It should be used to complete your e-Learning programme and for your evidence based placements.
