Standard Loan (4 weeks) items Auto Renew up to 6 times and then must come physically into the library before the loan can be extended again.  Please ask Help Desk staff to assist you during core hours with returning the loans, and checking if they have no reservations, and then you will be able to borrow them again if applicable.

If fines on your account (including accruing fines) exceed £20 then your library account becomes blocked from further borrowing and renewing.

Reserved items cannot be renewed. If another user requires the use of the material that you have out on loan they can place a reservation. This prevents the renewal of that item until the reservation is satisfied. Return the item to the Library and then, if you still require it, you may place a reservation for it, too.

An item may also be recalled to satisfy a reservation. If you receive a recall notice the item is given a new due date fourteen days from the date at the top of the notice. Failure to return the item within fourteen days will incur fines of £2 per day once the seven day grace period is up.
