If you don’t already have a Bloomberg username and password, you need to set one up via the Bloomberg for Education portal:

  1. Go to and select the “Signup as a Learner” button
  2. Enter your contact information, including your Brunel email address and select the “Sign Up” button. If you set up a Bloomberg for education account with a personal email address you will be unable to get access to the Bloomberg terminals
  3. You will receive a verification email. Follow the instructions in this email
  4. Email your Academic Liaison Librarian to let them know you have set up a Bloomberg for Education account. We will then be able to change your status to authorise you for a Bloomberg terminal login
  5. Once you have received an email from a librarian confirming you are authorised, go to the Terminal Access tab on the Bloomberg for Education portal (logging in again if you have been logged out) and follow the instructions in the account creation wizard. Once you have a Bloomberg terminal username and password set up you will be able to login to Bloomberg as described in the FAQ How do I access Bloomberg if I already have a Bloomberg username and password?
