If you don’t already have a Bloomberg username and password, you need to set one up via the Bloomberg for Education portal:

  1. Go to https://portal.bloombergforeducation.com/register and select the “Signup as a Learner” button
  2. Enter your contact information, including your Brunel email address and select the “Sign Up” button. If you set up a Bloomberg for education account with a personal email address you will be unable to get access to the Bloomberg terminals
  3. You will receive a verification email. Follow the instructions in this email
  4. Email your Academic Liaison Librarian to let them know you have set up a Bloomberg for Education account. We will then be able to change your status to authorise you for a Bloomberg terminal login
  5. Once you have received an email from a librarian confirming you are authorised, go to the Terminal Access tab on the Bloomberg for Education portal https://portal.bloombergforeducation.com/ (logging in again if you have been logged out) and follow the instructions in the account creation wizard. Once you have a Bloomberg terminal username and password set up you will be able to login to Bloomberg as described in the FAQ How do I access Bloomberg if I already have a Bloomberg username and password?
