Please do not pray in the Library.

The Library is a public space and is not a suitable environment for religious observances. You are likely to be interrupted or asked to move. People kneeling in prayer in "out of the way" spaces are often, unintentionally, blocking access to book shelves, fire exits or lifts.

The university provides suitable prayer spaces throughout the day in the Isambard Complex, 2nd floor (4am – 11pm), or the Meeting House. Muslim students, staff and visitors are able to perform ablutions near the Isambard Complex. Friday prayers take place in the Netball Hall. Members of the University are also able to book rooms for specialist religious activities or events.
