We respectfully ask that you do not pray in the Library.

There are a number of reasons why the Library isn't the ideal place to pray including:

  • We don't have adequate wash facilities
  • You may be interrupted by our Library staff trying to do their duties like shelving books
  • You may be interrupted by someone trying to access resources or spaces

We recommend using the dedicated prayer spaces that can be found in the Isambard Complex (2nd floor) or the Meeting House. Friday prayers take place in the Netball Hall. Members of the University are also able to book rooms for specialist religious activities or events.
