LibSmart is a dedicated study skills package run by the Academic Liaison Librarians (ALLs). It is designed to support students with the academic practice, information literacy, and employability skills they need to get the best out of their time at university and beyond. It incorporates workshops, the LibSmart Point desk, subject guides and more.

Workshops topics include referencing, referencing software and avoiding plagiarism, literature searching, and support with using specialist business, economics and finance data sources. You can find out about workshops and book via the LibSmart page.

The LibSmart Point, is a drop-in desk located on the first floor of the Library. You can visit to speak with an Academic Liaison Librarian between 1-4pm Monday to Friday, during term-time.

Subject Guides are brief introductions to the resources and support for the the different disciplines taught at Brunel. Use your Subject Guide to find out about key databases, who your librarian is and advice and support around referencing.
