What is a recall?
A recall is when we ask you to bring a book or item back so that we can provide it to another user who has reserved it. This often happens during exams. When a book is recalled we send you an email to let you know.
Can a recall happen at anytime?
Your item can't be recalled until you've had it for 14 days. After that, an item can be recalled at anytime.
How long will I have to return an item after it's been recalled?
You will have 14 days from when the recall email was sent.
What happens if I don't bring an item back within those 14 days?
You will be charged £2 a day for every day the item is overdue.
