Assessment and Outcome tools

The World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0) is a generic assessment tool that measures health and disability across different cultures and settings with a focus on activities of daily living.

The Performance Assessment of Self-care Skills (PASS) has been designed to evaluate the independence and safety of individuals in completing activities of daily living. It provides separate ratings for independence, safety, and adequacy of performance.

You may find it helpful to undertake a literature search on the healthcare databases such as AMED, PsychInfo and Medline for studies related to the use and validity of Occupational Therapy assessments and outcome measures.
