You need to export the references in your Shibboleth RefWorks account as a tagged file and then import them into your Login/Password RefWorks account. It is not advisable to use the backup and restore option as this will overwrite any existing data in the Login/Password account!
To export references from your Shibboleth account:
- Open your Shibboleth account
- Link to <References> on the tool bar and select <Export>
- Select <RefWorks Tagged Format> as the Export format
- Link to the <Export> button
- Link to <File/Save As>, and save the data as a .txt file on your desktop
To import references into your login/password account:
- Log out, and login to your login/password account
- Link to <References> on the tool bar and select <Import>
- Select <RefWorks Tagged Format> as the “Import Filter/Data Source”
- Leave “Tagged Format” the database entry
- Use the Browse button to navigate to your saved file on the desktop
- Leave the encoding as UTF-8
- Link to the <Import> button
- Your references should be imported to your Last Imported Folder
